This week’s Photo of the Week is from Taos, NM photographer, Jim O’Donnell. It was shot at the entrance to the Taos Pueblo the day after Christmas 2010. The Pueblo has been continuously inhabited for over 1,000 years. It is designated both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a National Historic Landmark. It is the only currently occupied Native American community to garner these honors.

Jim O’Donnell is the author of Notes for the Aurora Society and a Permaculture Designer from Taos, New Mexico where he hikes and fishes with his two small children.  Visit his website.

    The peaks north of Taos are breathtaking! I have climbed them many times and am always overwhelmed by their beauty.
