Spring blooms in Santa Fe, photo Steve Collins

A Santa Fe garden that was dreary a few weeks ago erupts overnight with spring blooms. These beautiful blossoms caught my eye on while  I was walking around town.

See more spring blooms in Santa Fe.

Beautiful blooms indeed. They must be a lovely treat after some dreary spring days.

It is! Although, it seems like spring can’t quite make up its mind.

Are those cherry blossoms? It’s beautiful and is a definite sign of Spring. Thanks for sharing!

Steve thinks so. Most flowering plants (except for cactus and a few other hardy ones) aren’t indigenous to the area. The natural, earth-tone landscape here benefits greatly from these colorful imports, though watering them is always a challenge.
